This is a 5-year-old Ben Nevis single malt, distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2020 by independent bottler Adelphi. Adelphi, founded in 1826, is known for selecting and bottling fine single cask whiskies without chill filtration or added coloring. This particular release was matured in a First Fill Oloroso Sherry Puncheon.

Intense and spicy arrival with cloves and chili heat, sweeter notes of cherry syrup and dates, chocolate bread/lava cake, molasses, fig chutney, Soreen malt loaf, licorice, green tea, beef jerky, kicap manis, sugar puffs, Maggi, charred Brussels sprouts, bone marrow.
Finish
Lingering spices, oak, shy red fruits, medium length fruit compote and wood, hazelnuts, wood smoked chocolate ganache covered in Cointreau.
