Description
A historic malt distillery located in the Highland region of Scotland. Since 1989 it has been Japanese-owned as part of the Asahi Group. Although it only produces single malt today, the distillery dabbled in grain whisky production from 1955 to 1984, even producing rare examples of single blends. Allt A'Mhullin is a brand name used by Roslin Distillers Ltd, an independent bottler founded by Colin Ross (former Ben Nevis Distillery Manager) and his son Aaron Ross, to bottle their cask collection. The name 'Allt A'Mhullin' refers to the stream descending from Ben Nevis, which once provided water for the distillery. This particular release is a 15-year-old single malt, distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2021.
