Nose
Sweet apple juice and light honey, fruity with pear, red delicious apple, honeydew melon, apricot, and buttery caramel notes. Hints of orange, Seville marmalade, floral, fragrant, beeswax, toffee, vanilla, and a touch of smoke. Some flinty, mineral, and slightly funky notes, with sour copper coins, porridge-y aspects, barley husks, candied lemon, and shoe polish.
Palate
Light caramel and apple with toffee notes, lemon and orange zest, and sweetened anise. Initial spicy notes lead to cereal flavours and a smooth creaminess of dark chocolate. Medium oily, waxy mouthfeel with tropical fruitiness, a hint of pepper, green olives, and sweet breakfast cereals. Mild smoke and a musty paper note are also present.
Finish
Apple juice and light caramel continue, with some bitterness like coffee or dark chocolate. Silken, toffee, and caramel notes balanced with a touch of mochaccino and dark chocolate. Nice length, fatty, waxy, and lemon-y, with malt-driven notes, dry porridge oats, and enduring natural vanilla.
