- Fragrant, quite rich. Malt and hints of smoke, a touch of peat with honey and spice. Aroma is very pleasant, slightly spicy.
- Palate
- Balanced, toffee with oak, peat. Gentle fudge note. Initial rush of peat and wood smoke is followed by a gentle sweetness with hints of spice. Delicious, soft, sweet, smooth, very firm malt, full-bodied and punchy grain, with lemon, vanilla, and cakey notes.
- Finish
- Good length with toffee and oak. Long and warming, with a gently warming spice.
