Nose
Soft milk chocolate and crème caramel with rich, plump sultanas. There is an underlying sweet-scented candle wax note that lends an element of depth.
Palate
At first it is light on the palate but it stills seems to coat the mouth. There is a soft creaminess to the whisky and flavours of butterscotch and satsumas. After the second sip, there is more fruit cake and toffee where the malt and grain have integrated well.
Finish
Medium length, doughy, sweet, lots of floral character and a whisp of toffee.
