Description

A historic malt distillery located in the Highland region of Scotland. Since 1989 it has been Japanese-owned as part of the Asahi Group. Although it only produces single malt today, the distillery dabbled in grain whisky production from 1955 to 1984, even producing rare examples of single blends. Claxton's is a family-run, Yorkshire-based independent bottler known for bottling all-natural single cask whiskies. [cite: 1, Whisky Auctioneer]
