Nose
A vibrant blast of mango, papaya, guava and pineapple springs from the glass, ahead of boiled sweets and strawberry and cream notes. Jelly Babies and strawberry lace confectionery follow, ahead of floral honey, crisp Riesling, dusty milk chocolate and hessian notes.
Palate
The juiciness from the nose continues on the palate, with tinned peaches, golden syrup, dandelion and burdock soda, nutmeg, mace, and a touch of spearmint. With time, tobacco box, dark chocolate and a walnut note emerge through the velvety texture.
Finish
The tropical fruit sweetness gives way to an earthy, rooty finish, with a smattering of root ginger and toasted oak lengthening out the complexity.
