Nose
Very fresh and fruity with malt, flowers, citrus, unripe banana, honey, pineapple, and ripe mango. There's a whiff of smoke, barely there. Also notes of toffee, almonds, and wet grass from the ex-bourbon barrel.
Palate
Mildly prickling, silky smooth and creamy, warming the mouth. The summer fruit basket returns, with something bitter as well. Smooth, sweet, flowery, and vanilla, well balanced.
Finish
A tad short, sweet, and bursting with cloves. Enjoyable and long.
