Description

Distilled at the Benriach distillery on the 13th of May 2005, then matured for 18 years in a single Port Pipe (No.2399) before being bottled at cask strength (57.4% ABV) in 2023. The cask yielded 649 bottles, which were bottled as part of the Distillery Cask range after selection by Master Blender Rachel Barrie.

Baked cherry and apple pie with almond madeira. Liquorice, dark chocolate & toffee.
Palate
Sweet apple, plum & cherry compote with caramelised demerara sugar & marscapone cream.
Finish
Long finish. More of the same, rich fruitiness and the juicy berries. Strawberries in particular. Pencil shavings and oaky spiciness in the end.
