Description

Originally based in Aberdeen before being bought by the Campbeltown based Mitchell family in 1969, Wm Cadenhead's is the oldest independent bottler in Scotland. Now their flagship Campbeltown premises - located next to the Springbank distillery - also features their own shop offering a variety of bottled spirits from different distilleries. With their own warehouse stocked full of exciting whiskie ... This 12-year-old Benriach-Glenlivet bottling was distilled in 2012 and matured in refill barrels before undergoing a second maturation in Amontillado sherry casks starting in 2022. This maturation process imparts a rich depth and complexity to the whisky.
