Description
A Speyside distillery that makes a range of different single malt styles. Its primary make is a non-peated spirit, however it also does runs of peated and triple-distilled spirit and is one of only a handful of distilleries in Scotland to still operate its own in-house floor maltings. Ben riach The Thirty is a 30-year-old single malt Scotch whisky, crafted from peated spirit and matured in a combination of sherry casks, bourbon barrels, virgin oak casks, and port casks from the Douro Valley. This multi-layered maturation creates a complex expression with rich layering of honeyed smoke, dark fruits, walnut, and velvety oak spice. It is bottled at 46% ABV and is non-chill filtered.
