Description

The Murray McDavid Cask Partnership Series aims to combine characterful Scottish single malts with selected wine and spirit casks from around the world. This Benrinnes 2016/2025 release is an outstanding example, showcasing the distillery's strong, traditionally 'meaty' character meeting the intense, sweet-spicy aromas of Madeira. Matured for over 8 years in fresh Madeira barriques from the renowned producer Justino's, these casks previously held a blend of fortified wines from different grape varieties. The result is a unique and complex dram with luscious fruit and nut character combined with the Benrinnes single malt.
