Nose
Fruity sweetness, chocolate, subtle lingering smoke, hints of toasted oak, warm spice (cinnamon, nutmeg), touch of honeyed malt, light citrus zest. Distant stewed red fruits amongst the ethanol.
Palate
Red fruits, a good mouthfeel, candy cane, cinnamon, green apple. Caramelised white chocolate, honeycomb, milk chocolate, Navy Strength rum, white pepper, sticky toffee sauce, sticky dates, caramel sauce.
Finish
Short, peaches and vanilla rapidly drop off. More classic sherry at the end, a little wood driven, but still has chocolate, raisin, apricot, marinated fruit, sticky cooked fruit notes.
