- Nose
- Baked apple, juicy pear, zesty orange, warm nutmeg, hint of clove, toasted oak. Stewed apples and pears, oranges, citrus, nutty, hint of honey, marzipan, milk chocolate, apple pie. Dried figs and dates with a hint of aceto balsamico, light touches of fudge and cigar tobacco, whisper of lemon yoghurt and orange peel, red apple skin, grassiness, milk chocolate. Slight cereal note, honey (floral), honeysuckle, fruity notes.
- Palate
- Rich orange marmalade, lemon peel, sweet honey, creamy custard, opulent, silky texture. Oily, oranges, hint of lemon, sweet, caramel, honey sweetness, touch of oak, custard. Hint of menthol, lightest touch of smoke, caramel and cherry syrup, sweet and oily, plenty of orange and lemon zest, whisper of ginger and oak. Nice texture, sweet but not cloying, cereal note, spicy at the back.
- Finish
- Long and lingering, spiced walnut, whisper of caramel. Walnut, quite spicy. Fairly spicy (chili pepper) at first, then lingering on herbs and sweeter notes. Lingering spiciness that softens.
