Description
Proudly celebrating his family's roots in moonshine production - and even using the Polish word for moonshine, 'Bimber' - Dariusz Plazewski set up his London-based distillery in 2015 with Ewelina Chruszczyk after emigrating from Poland. Bimber is one of only a handful of working distilleries in London and of even fewer in the whisky-making industry. They pride themselves on a natural environment. This is a single cask bottling of Bimber English single malt whisky, originally matured for over four years in American oak ex-bourbon casks, then finished in a first-fill fino sherry butt sourced from Jerez-based Bodegas Tradición, and bottled exclusively for Fortnum & Mason in 2021. The release consists of 857 bottles at 51% ABV.
