The first release of Bimber Peated Cask single malt has been matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon barrels and quarter casks that previously held peated Islay whisky. With an outturn of 1750 bottles, this limited edition expression has been bottled at 54.1% abv.

Nose
Aromas of ripe peach, toffee, vanilla cream, juniper and smoky tobacco. Crisp and vibrant pineapple cubes, peach slices and tinned apricots are joined by garden-fresh florals, vanilla ice cream and a delicate background smoke. A layer of peat combined with vanilla, seaweed, brine, charcoal, caramel fudge, lemons, pineapple, and kiwi.
Palate
Notes of stone fruits, lime zest, shortbread biscuits, charcoal and medicinal peat smoke. A rich and oily mouthfeel delivers syrupy tropical and stone fruits. Sooty peat smoke and tangy minerality is offset by lemon verbena and orange liqueurs. Creamy with smoke, salty notes, lemons, green apples, drizzle lemon cake, vanilla custard, dark chocolate, toffee, charred wood and a light herbal note.
Finish
Lingering smokiness punctuated by charred oak and tingling white pepper. Long, with more smoke, black pepper, and ginger. Medium to long, woody and smoky like beach bonfires with slightly tingling peppery notes.
