This Oregon Straight Bourbon is currently contract-distilled in Oregon by Stein Distillery. Past versions of Black Maple Hill were produced by Kentucky Bourbon Distillers and Julian Van Winkle III's Old Commonwealth Distillery Company. This is a premium small batch, limited edition bourbon.

Corny with an herbaceous undercurrent, caramel covered popcorn, slight musty cracked corn, canned sweet corn, slight wintergreen/basil, subtle black licorice, muskiness, cinnamon, oak, rye notes, vanilla, and orange peel.
Palate
Flabby sweetness, corn syrup, slight vanillin barrel sweet, smoky, lightly caramel, rye notes, vanilla, cinnamon, musky, nutty, sweet and sour, corn mash, cherry cordial, and dark chocolate.
Finish
Abrupt black pepper spice, short lingering Splenda sweetness and astringency, dry oak, black pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg, orange peels, and a not long lingering finish that drops off.
