The 2018 incarnation of indie-bottler Blackadder's ongoing and much-loved Peat Reek. It's sourced from an anonymous Islay distillery and bottled at a punchy 60.3% in the Raw Cask style – all the flavour is in the bottle and not filtered out. Every bottle contains its share of the CASK SEDIMENT and NATURAL OILS AND FATS that might otherwise be left behind when filling a cask-strength whisky straight from the cask. Blackadder is famous for its Raw Cask bottling method, a trademarked concept that delivers whisky straight from the cask, meaning the spirit is bottled completely unfiltered, un-chillfiltered, and without added color. The presence of tiny, harmless charred wood particles (cask sediment) in the bottle is the ultimate proof of this pure, unadulterated, 'straight from the barrel' experience.
