Description

Mothballed in 2009, Bladnoch distillery got a stay of execution when it was purchased by Australian yoghurt tycoon David Prior. After extensive renovations, production resumed in summer 2017. This 14 Year Old 2020 Release is aged exclusively in Oloroso Sherry casks and bottled without chill-filtration. Palate
Raisins, rich fruit cake with sweet cinnamon and chocolate, layers of vanilla, honey, rich malt sweetness, oak spices (ginger, black pepper), toffee, caramelized walnuts, dark cherries, espresso, dark chocolate.
Finish
Rich and long with a slight dryness, lingering oak and spice, oak spices (ginger, black pepper).
