Description

A historic Highland malt distillery that makes up part of the extensive Scotch whisky holdings of Diageo. One of the oldest in Scotland, it dates back to the late 18th century and its modern history is hallmarked by its association to the Arthur Bell & Sons blends.

Waves of raisin syrup, toffee apple and orange marmalade roll over polished oak, roasted hazelnut and a wisp of chocolate powder.
Palate
Velvety swirls of treacle pudding, fig jam and chewy malt coat the tongue, followed by clove-spiced cocoa, toasted almond and a lift of candied citrus.
Finish
Long, warming and gently drying—lingering sherry-soaked fruitcake, sweet oak tannin and a final flourish of nutty dark chocolate.
