Nose
Rich and inviting: toffee, tobacco, leather, fruitcake, cherry, and vanilla. Fruity with orange, peach, passion fruits and red fruits. A floral and grassy side is also present, with mashed mint leafs and roses. A citrusy (more orange than anything)/Mango thing on top of caramel with a sea side to it. A nice layer of honey.
Palate
Honeyed, peppery, cracked black pepper, red Sichuan pepper, quite spicy, and has a refreshing edge to it. The arrival is very spicy on chilli-pepper and ginger. A touch of bitterness is revealed with grapefruit and very dark chocolate, some oak and a splash of coffee. The texture becomes a bit creamy, almost waxy. Fresh pineapple juice. A hint of pink grapefruit. Oranges. Vanilla. A cinnamon bun and some liquorice. Nutty from time to time. And slightly peppery.
Finish
Peppery and lively, followed by rich toffee-like notes. Fruity with apple, liquorice and hints of oak, but not very long. Mid-long and slightly dry. Honey. Cinnamon, liquorice and a hint of caramel. A faint hint of passion fruit here too.
