Blanton's Original Single Barrel Bourbon is renowned as the world's first commercially sold single barrel bourbon, setting a high standard for premium bourbon craftsmanship. It is produced at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, and each bottle is hand-drawn from a single barrel, ensuring unique flavor profiles. This particular bottle was dumped on May 1, 2020, from Barrel No. 500, and is bottled at 46.5% ABV (93 Proof). It is aged in new, charred American oak barrels in Warehouse H, known for its unique aging conditions. The iconic bottle features a collectible horse and jockey stopper, with this specific bottle having a stopper marked with the letter 'L'.
