Dark chocolate, caramel, and butter with earthy undertones of walnut and hazelnut. Also notes of dense, oily, and earthy caramel, maple syrup, syrupy peach, dried apple coated in cinnamon, caraway seed, rosemary, dried apricot, vanilla, and dried orange peel.
Palate
Warm vanilla, oak, toasted nuts, and a rich spiciness with hints of butterscotch or honey. Full and mouth-coating with intense barrel concentration, rye spice, and deep oak. Flavors of vanilla wafer, dark red fruit, cinnamon, and black cherry.
Finish
Deep, resonant, and long, with spice and charred oak persisting. Sweet and extended, featuring chocolate caramel with notes of leather and a slight youthful note. Also notes of dark chocolate, vanilla, and dry oak.
