Nose
Rich vanilla and caramel notes are instantly evident, with honey, chocolate, candied orange, coffee, and a soft hint of dried fruits. Other notes include toasted barley, almonds, Rosette cookies, creamed honey, cold tea dregs with Demerara sugar, orange and cherries in alcohol, and spices like cinnamon, turmeric, and nutmeg.
Palate
Soft spices lead into a delicious sweetness with vanilla, caramel, soft oak, and a touch of coconut. Other notes include dried fruits, chocolate, sugared almonds, toasted oak, Rosette cookies, agave nectar, corn syrup, almond paste, mochi matcha, milk chocolate, citrus fruits, dried apple chunks, ginger, treacle, sticky toffee sponge pudding, and a little Christmas pudding. It has a silky and waxy mouthfeel.
Finish
Drying with a lingering sweetness, on oak, caramel, dark chocolate dipped in an espresso, and a sandalwood note. Other notes include bready notes with a hint of rye, citrus peel, and mint leaf.
