Nose
Fruity with notes of ripe apples, juicy peaches, dried figs, cinnamon, fresh mint, toasted oak, plums, artificial blueberry, apricots, and gentle smoke. Hints of metal polish, soot, tropical fruit teas, medicinal roots, honey, waxy lemons, gunpowder, and sulfur are also present.
Palate
Smooth and oily with lighter mixed fruit flavors, dark chocolate, warm butterscotch, nutty almond notes, and a hint of anise. Surprisingly peaty with exotic fruit notes, some sherry influence, and a resinous, sharp saltiness. Medicinal notes of iodine are also detected.
Finish
Medium-length with light spice and a trace of smoke. Long, peaty, fresh, and coastal with preserved exotic fruit notes, lingering salt, grassiness, and ash.
