Description

The oldest operational distillery on the isle of Islay, built in 1779. This Bowmore 1967 was distilled in 1967 and matured in specially selected Sherry Casks, warehoused in the distillery's oldest warehouse, dating back to 1779. The pure water and plentiful peat used at Bowmore combine to produce this distinctive and unique Malt Whisky. Today, Bowmore is part of the Suntory Group, having been acquired by the Japanese company in 1994.
