Description

A decanter made to celebrate the bicentenary of Bowmore Distillery, released in 1979. This multi-vintage bottling contains whisky vatted from a selection of casks distilled in the 1950s and 1960s, with the earliest distillate being from 1950. The selected casks were matured exclusively in Bowmore's No.1 Vault, and the whisky was primarily matured in sherry casks. The bottle is a replica of a hand-blown decanter and comes with a presentation box. This legendary expression is considered one of the best Bowmore malts ever produced.
