Description

This is a private cask bottling by Samaroli, bottled from the cask holdings of Antonio Bleve. Bowmore is the oldest operational distillery on the isle of Islay, built in 1779. Today it is part of the Suntory Group, having been acquired by the Japanese company in 1994. Under their ownership it has been nurtured into one of the most collectable names in Scotch whisky. Samaroli is an iconic Italian importer and independent bottler, founded in 1968 by Silvano Samaroli. The company is credited with marketing some of the finest single cask whiskies of all time and is revered for its pioneering approach to presentation and label design.
