Description

The Bowmore 8 Year Old - Legend of the Devil and Bowmore Church is a special limited edition release from the Bowmore Legend series. This particular edition, also known as 'Legend of The Devil' or 'The Devil Visits Bowmore Church', was first bottled in 1996 as the third of 13 different Bowmore Legend editions released between 1994 and 2006. The series is based on Islay folklore, specifically the legend of the devil visiting Bowmore church in 1837 and escaping in a cask of whisky. It is an Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, distilled and bottled by Morrison's Bowmore Distillery. It comes in a metal tin featuring the story of the legend.
