Bowmore Mizunara Cask Finish, Mizunara Cask, 2015, 53.9%

The Bowmore Mizunara Cask Finish is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky, released in 2015, and is notable as the first Islay whisky to be finished in Japanese Mizunara oak casks. This expression combines Bowmore's traditional character with unique notes from the rare Mizunara wood. The whisky was initially matured in bourbon and sherry casks before a three-year finishing period in Mizunara oak. Only 2,000 bottles were released globally.
