Description

A Swedish single malt whisky distillery, originally founded by Mats de Vahl, Per de Vahl, Jan Sahlén, Anders Jonasson, Per Rydberg and Thomas Larsson as Box in 2010, but renamed eight years later. Nose
Vanilla pods maturing in a citrus orchard, mineral character with green apple, physalis, nectarine, tinned tangerines, and spices. Creamy and aromatic with exotic fruits, banana, peaches, vanilla, and caramel. Fruity notes of tropical fruits and citrus with a subtle hint of oak.
Palate
Light but with substance, spicy with ginger, vanilla, wood shavings, banana, and honey. Fresh fruits like green apples, white apples, vanilla, gooseberry, nectarines, and white peaches. Rich and balanced with ripe juicy sweet fruits such as apricots and green apples. Intense notes of vanilla, honey, and a touch of pepper.
Finish
Short to medium long, gentle for 51% ABV, slightly malty-sweet with a mineral note, green and white apples, and summer fruits. Oak, ginger, and vanilla. Full and warming. Long-lasting with pleasant sweetness and gentle spice.
