Description

The Bruichladdich 2001 Resurrection Dram is the first official bottling from Bruichladdich since its reopening in 2001, following its mothballing in 1994. This 7-year-old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled on October 23rd, 2001, and bottled in 2008 at 46% ABV. It was matured exclusively in American Bourbon casks and is lightly peated to 10ppm. This release, a celebration of the distillery's revival under Jim McEwan, consists of 24,000 individually numbered bottles.
