Nose
Standing in a garden in summer with tones of elderflower, nettle, cordial and honeysuckle intermingling with an earthy undertone. Notes of gingerbread mix and light aniseed give an indication of the rich body to come. Also, sunflower oil, heather honey, light cereals, fresh canvas with oil paint, hay, chalk, faded vanilla, and ripe yellow plums.
Palate
Honey water with more of the herbs; tarragon and mint expand across the palate while a wonderful delicate spice and cake batter coat the tongue while lemon and orange oil balance the inherent sweetness. Off-dry with a firm herbal side, honey, pollen, herbal teas, waxy notes, sandalwood, grassy notes, lemon oil, lemon peel, light medicinal touches, hints of paraffin, and an earthy richness.
Finish
Lingering spice and elderflower seem to layer and linger on the palate as the sweetness slowly dissipates. Quite long, with lingering wood spice, vegetal oil, a touch of mustard, and a nice fatty edge.
