Nose
Succulent fruits like cantaloupe melon, peach, apricot, plump red grapes with hints of dark plums, fresh mint, primrose, orange and lemon peel. Sweetness of toasted barley and mellow oak sugars. Fruity hard candies, licorice, pear tarts, marzipan, dry baking spices, cinnamon sticks, orange, subtle earth and herbs, freshly milled wood.
Palate
Malty, oaky, biscuit creamy citrus buttery flavor with honey and toffee. Gorgeous complex creation with fruit notes emerging as it warms. Medium to full-bodied, oily, candied orange and citron peel with toffee, caramel brittle, candied almond, marzipan Christmas pastries, and poached pears.
Finish
Strong and elegant with latent power, oodles of succulent fruit and mellow tannins. Long and lingering, drying, with candied fruits, toffee, and sawdust.
