Description

The Bruichladdich Octomore 7.2 Edition is a limited edition, travel retail exclusive, heavily peated Islay single malt whisky. It was aged for 5 years in a marriage of first-fill American oak ex-bourbon casks and first-fill Syrah wine casks from France's Rhone Valley. Peated to an extraordinary 208 ppm, it is bottled at cask strength, non-chill filtered, and with natural color. This expression is known for its surprising elegance and balance despite its high peat levels, offering a complex profile of sweet fruits, smoke, and spicy wood.
