Description
Bruichladdich Rocks is an unpeated Islay single malt whisky, introduced in 2007 as the first edition of a series. It is a multi-vintage vatting of 6-9 year old single malts, initially matured in ex-bourbon casks and then finished for approximately 9 months in French red wine casks, specifically Syrah, Grenache, or Mourvèdre casks. The name refers to the ancient rock formations of the Rhinns of Islay, and it was designed to be a vibrant and approachable dram, often marketed for enjoyment over ice. It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, and naturally coloured.
