Nose
Immediately there are vanillas and caramels from the bourbon casks. Once you get past that, it's all spice, fruit, and sea air. I get a note reminiscent of cinnamon applesauce, followed by some coconut, orange and lemons, and some good salty sea air.
Palate
At 50% and non chill filtered, the mouthfeel is fantastic- very viscous. There's a soft salinity, then orange marmalade, green apple, coconut, sweet malt, and a surprising amount of oakiness.
Finish
Medium-long finish, with sea salt, honeyed malt, citrus, and oak.
