- Fresh apricot and kiwi, lemon and melon with honey. Quite sweet, winey, sea salt, lemons, spice, blackberries, earth, honey. Creamy vanilla and fruit salad, light grape, berries, a little oak, gentle warm heat, freshly cut wood, golden raisins, dark apple/pear cider.
- Palate
- Waves of sweet oak and malt, well balanced. Medium thick oily mouthfeel, sweet and salty, fruit (bourbon style apples, pears, peaches, winey berries), tingle of spice, earthiness, honey, lactic taste, small amount of wine funk. Rounded and thick, honey sweetness, more fruit, toffee apple and cinnamon. Gentle warmth/tingle, golden raisins, honey, lightly dry cider, pineapple, baked apples, golden raisins cooked in a sweet white wine. Chewy toffee, ripe berries, background pit fruits.
- Finish
- Silky smooth with peppery notes. Medium finish, honey and spice continue, minty menthol note, herbal, eucalyptus, black pepper, quite drying. Good length, honey, biscuity. Gentle warmth continues, sweet dark honeyed golden raisins, dark cooked light flesh colored fruits. Earthy/resinous spicy notes.
