Description

Buffalo Trace Experimental Collection: Fire Pot Barrel Aged is an inaugural 2006 release of Buffalo Trace's Experimental Collection. Distilled on February 6, 1996 and barreled on February 7, 1996 from BT Rye Mash #1, this bourbon was aged for 10 years in a single white oak barrel (#4 char) crafted by Independent Stave, which was heated to 102°F for 23 minutes with a fire pot to dry the wood prior to aging.
