Description

In partnership with the Chicago Rabbinical Council (cRc), Buffalo Trace Distillery produced this Rye Recipe Bourbon Whiskey. Made with the same high quality grains as Buffalo Trace Bourbon Whiskey, this Kosher spirit was aged in specifically designated Kosher barrels for approximately seven years. It is bottled at 94 proof and released annually after Passover.

Sweet vanilla, caramel, and warm oak with hints of rye spice and orchard fruit; floral honey, citrus, green grape, and bright cherry with hints of marshmallow and peach.
Palate
Balanced notes of brown sugar, toffee, clove, and pepper complemented by smooth oak and honeyed grain; vanilla buttercream, peach, citrus, licorice, smoked oak, cinnamon, and a little toasted grain.
Finish
Medium-long with lingering baking spice, caramelized sugar, and light heat; floral, sweet, and lightly oaky with tannins, honey, citrus, and licorice.
