Description

The Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old Cask Strength 2023 Edition is the third annual release of this unpeated Islay single malt, bottled at a natural cask strength of 60.1% ABV. Matured for 12 years in a combination of first- and second-fill Oloroso sherry and ex-bourbon casks, it offers a rich and complex profile. This edition delivers a fruiter profile with notes of stone fruits and figs at the forefront, and a less spicy finish with sweet notes of fresh vanilla pods. It is non-chill filtered and celebrates the classic sherried Bunnahabhain house style. The distillery, established in 1881, is located on Islay's remote north-east coast.
