Description

This heavily-peated Bunnahabhain single malt, known as Staoisha, was released in 2021 as part of La Maison du Whisky's Artist Collective series (Collective V.5.2). Distilled in 2013 and aged for 7 years in four rejuvenated (Dechar/Rechar) hogsheads, it was bottled at a natural cask strength of 64.1%. The Dechar/Rechar process involves scraping and re-charring the cask to expose fresh wood, adding depth and complexity to the spirit.
