Nose
It's quite buttery at first. Butterscotch, then leather and dried orange peels. It even reminds me a bit of Grand Marnier, you know the liqueur? Dark fruits; mostly blueberries. Dried fruits as well. It is really influenced by the sherry cask. Dark chocolate. When adding water: More honey, apricot marmelade and oranges.
Palate
Yep, a sherry bomb indeed! Leather, red fruit, and a handful of berries. Honey. Very dark chocolate, but not the overly bitter one. With water also some wood.
Finish
The finish is quite long, with very dark chocolate and some wood spices. [2]
