Description
Islay's remote north east coast might seem a strange place to find a substantial Victorian distillery, but it was chosen in 1881 by William Robertson in partnership with Greenlees Bros. as the perfect spot for his island vision. This dram showcases how well Bunnahabhain spirit matures in sherry casks, with notes of paprika spice, stewed fruits, tropical flavours and nuts. It was first matured in a refill sherry butt and then transferred to a first fill Oloroso sherry hogshead at the distillery in June 2014.
