Nose
Cooked fruit, perhaps prunes or dates. Slight peat nose later.
Palate
Sweet, fruity, nutty, slightly peaty with a hint of salt. Giving an unexpected fuzz on the taste buds. Definite touch of smoke, a Bunnahabhain from a bygone age. Given the lightness of the colour, this is a surprise.
Finish
Good length with peat as the abiding memory.
