Nose
Rich, sweet, and dense aroma with hints of sherry, raisins, grapes, vanilla, peanut, orange peel, beeswax, and a slight salt trace, with fresh sea air.
Palate
Bright and oily, with sherry, cream, raisins, black pepper, honeycomb, poached pear, sweet herbs, and intense orange fruits. Exceptionally soft for an Islay malt with a gentle peatiness, smooth, with a bite at the tip of the tongue.
Finish
Sweet and extremely long, with oak spice, citrus zest, and sugared dried apricots.
