Originally based in Aberdeen before being bought by the Campbeltown based Mitchell family in 1969, Wm Cadenhead's is the oldest independent bottler in Scotland. Now their flagship Campbeltown premises - located next to the Springbank distillery - also features their own shop offering a variety of bottled spirits from different distilleries. With their own warehouse stocked full of exciting whiskies. This is the 70cl version of the 2023 Cadenhead's Edinburgh Shop Exclusive release. A blended malt aged for a minimum of 25 Years. A great bottling which is a blend of both malt and grain whiskies with no chill-filtration and natural colour. Enticing aromas of strawberry laces, fruit slices and cheesecake are followed by a palate bursting with sultanas, medjool dates and shortcake. The finish offers a dry nuttiness with mandarin orange and nutmeg notes.
