Nose
A lot of vanilla on a background of toasted bread, crême de banane, some apple, and hints of glue. Water brings out coconut. A lovely burst of vanilla with a balsamic quality, hefty amounts of coconut and banana bread, with ginger powder adding spiciness. Clear notes of coconut and raw Paris mushrooms, with beautiful freshness and some honey.
Palate
Big notes of caramel and lots of wood, honey, and bittersweet oranges. Overall quite neutral with grains, alcohol, and plain oak. Water softens it, bringing out vanilla and coconut. Alcoholic with bitter wood, vanilla, coconut, and a grain vodka-like quality with a woody edge. Strongly marked by coconut and great smoothness, with honey notes and a hint of bitterness.
Finish
Rather short, with juicy oak and zesty oranges. Oak wood and spicy. Long and hot, with ubiquitous coconut.
