Description

A closed Scottish grain distillery that operated between 1806 and 1993 when it was closed down by Diageo. The company still owns the site, transforming it into a cooperage in 2011. Sweetly perfumed and gentle, with yellow fruit pastilles, sugar-glazed yum-yums, honeydew melon, sticky toffee pudding, sugar and cream on cornflakes, polished brass, sugar cane, meringue, banana split, maple and pecan Danish, hibiscus in syrup, dried flowers and crumbly mints.
Palate
Sweet oak, pine resin, banana toffee, vanilla cream, candy corns, marshmallows, salted caramel, and a Christmas spice mix (maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove).
Finish
Foamy shrimps, vanilla custard, and cream soda, with a dangerously innocent and sweet character.
