Description

From the Cambus distillery we have this exceptional forty-one-year-old whisky, bottled independently by The Perfect Fifth. Cambus is favoured by blenders, since its qualities can work as a foil for those of other whiskies - but this is a chance for purists to appreciate them!

Nose
Enticing aromas of honeyed sweetness, complemented by hints of orange zest and nougat. A fruity and zesty nose, peppered with a hint of spice, with white and yellow flowers, popcorn, fresh American oak, macaroons, meringues, and croissants.
Palate
Rich and smooth, featuring flavors reminiscent of pudding, with undertones of aromatic spice and a touch of citrus. Soft malt and toast, with sweeter, fudgy and heather honey notes. Liquid orange cake, sponge cake, and loads of nougats with a tense citrusy side.
Finish
Long-lasting and unique, leaving a warm and satisfying impression. Medium, rather fresh, with notes of orgeat syrup and touches of aniseed.
